Aurangabad: Students and faculty members of MIT, Aurangabad have achieved a great success by attaining 07 toppers, 11 gold and 30 silver medals in NPTEL Examination conducted during Jan-April 2019. Total 110 students and faculty members took this exam and got 41 medals in total. All these achievers have felicitated by the hands of Honorable Director General MIT, Prof. Munish Sharma and Principal Dr. Nilesh Patil. Dr. Santosh Bhosle, Principal MIT(T), Vice Principals, Dr. Syed Aziz, Dr. Hanumant Dharmadhikari, Shubhashree Savant, SPOC, NPTEL local chapter, MIT, Head of all Departments, faculty memberss ,students were present for the program.
NPTEL is the online portal of Government of India, which facilitates students and faculty to take online courses in engineering and science through E-Learning. Director General Prof. Munish Sharma congratulated all the successful students and faculty members for their success and motivated them to participate in different courses of NPTEL in each Semester for knowledge enhancement and he has also encouraged all Faculty members to mentor the students for these courses.
In this program, students Sampada Kulkarni, Prateek Waykos and faculty members Sandeep Pankade and Shubhashree Savant shared their experiences and explained the importance of these courses.
